I am a couple of days late with this post; I apologise, but better late than never, right?
Anyways, happy new year my lovely readers!
I spent part of my New Year's Eve at a "Hawaiian" themed party at a country club that my parents are members of. To be frank, I have no idea if the place we went to was actually a country club per say, but that's the closest way I could describe it.
Anywho, it was incredibly cute. All the food was hawaiian themed, so barbecued pork, mango and mint lamb, other meats with stuff like pineapples and hawaiian fruits.
The only downside was that it was heavily meat-based, so for people like me, who like variety in my meals, it was a bit hard for me to stomach and digest, but it was alright in the end haha.
My family went back home an hour before midnight where we probably woke up the world with all the noise we made when the clock struck 12.
So, for me, New Year's Eve was a pretty chill occasion and I don't think I would've wanted it any other way.
